The name TugLink is meant to imply that company insiders help candidates get “linked” with jobs they desire by giving them a “tug”, or a helping hand, and guiding them along the way. Employee referral is employers' preferred recruitment channel and a job search method most favored by candidates. However, until now companies had no steady stream of candidates referred by employees, and candidates had very limited connections with insiders.
